Express Scheduling has Location restrictions and they should be honored on the Event Form as well.

Doug Carter MergedI would like for Express Scheduling to adhere to assignment policy exceptions when applied to a security group and remove the location from the locations list. Ex. I have a location that is available Mon-Sun 7am-11pm. I have Express Scheduling active and users are allowed to book up to 1 hr max. I have created assignment policy exception that only grants Assign\Unassign rights for the location Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Hours outside of that time frame the user will need to use the event form to request the space. Unfortunately, using this workaround does not force Express Scheduling to remove the space from the list of available locations even though it is outside of the exception.

Pamela MasonI do not want it to work this way. Express scheduling time limit is only for events created by express scheduling because those are supposed to be a certain type of event. For example, we can have express scheduling allowed on spaces which is designed to be used for students to quick book study time. However, they are supposed to use the Full Event Form for all other types of events and those can be for longer periods of time than the study groups.

Pamela MasonFor use we would want to do limits based on Event Type by Locations. I think what would be ideal is if you could set limits reservation time limits using Event Form Rules.
