Pro - Add Create an Event button on the dashboard
We would like to have both an option for Express Scheduling in Pro and the Create an Event button. For our users, "Create an Event" is more obvious to click on than "Event Form".

Pamela MasonWe really need to have the Create an Event button back on the dashboard. Everyone in our University has basic permissions to 25Live so there is no way to provide training to everyone. When users login they have no idea where to go to start creating an event. One of the biggest complaints we get is that people cannot figure out how to start creating an event.

Ayo BondAgreed!
My College's general users throughout the state are in one security group since they should be able to request space at any of our locations. There are currently about 1000 which have authenticated into the system (every employee is eligible). We cannot consider leveraging Express Scheduling for a few ideal locations if it will impact the overall user experience. We will struggle to get buy-in and more general users booking space if we cannot present both express scheduling and the create an event button. -

Megan BladowYes please! This is so helpful for new users, especially when ALL of your students are users.

Megan BladowFor our basic users, they need to be able to schedule practice and study rooms in express but also would need the create an event button for other events. I would recommend defaulting the dashboard so the create event button appears below express scheduling.

Veronica HitesCan we have a CREATE EVENT button and an EXPRESS SCHEDULING button for the users in security groups that have express scheduling?

Sabrina ShepherdI voted for this simply because I like the language of "Create an Event" better than "Event Form"

Walt (CollegeNET) AdminThe fact that your dashboard shows a "Create an Event" button is an indication that you do not have express scheduling enabled in your environment, or the security group you are a member of does not have the correct rights to express schedule any locations, Jason M.
