Ability to transfer Event Ownership from original owner to another contact
The ability to transfer event ownership from the original owner to another contact. If you do not have the appropriate security rights to change ownership, you would still be allowed if you are currently the owner of the event.

Bonnie HendricksonWe have a few locations set up so that the approver can edit the Tentative request - add notes/resources, change details as needed, but at this time we can only give them that access by editing OLS on Child Events. This unfortunately gives them the ability to edit anyone's events, not just the ones that apply to them. It would be great if I could assign ownership of Tentatives that need their input individually in PRO at the time it is requested, rather than giving them blanket access in Admin.

TUNISIA BAILEYWe are finding that since more of our end users opt to create events using the embedded event forms which use a generic user that we created for this purpose, it is becoming a challenge to manage changing events. We want people to be able to edit the events they created and so if we could reassign the event to the specific person that actually created it would greatly assist our event info change processes. This would also be useful for situation when people that originally create and event are no longer in charge of that event, have left the college, etc. I REALLY hope this is considered :-)

Megan Parravanothis would be very helpful when people leave the university and we need to assign over an event in progress to someone else to make all the changes!

Maggie AdminIt is currently possible to edit the ownership of events (if you have the appropriate security clearance to do so) by following the steps detailed in this article: https://knowledge25.knowledgeowl.com/help/taking-ownership-of-events
The second part of this feature request ("If you do not have the appropriate security rights to change ownership, you would still be allowed if you are currently the owner of the event") is not currently possible, but we have marked this request as "Done" as a majority of the comments are concerned with the functionality detailed in the Help article above.
Please comment if the documented functionality is still insufficient for your business process and we will document this in an additional feature request. -

Jason MartinWe would still like to have the ability of the event owner to reassign their own reservations to someone else without additional permissions or having to escalate to someone who has them.
