Show setup and takedown times on calendars
The calendar view of search results only shows the start and end time of an event, not the setup/takedown or pre/post event time. It would be useful to see that on the calendar itself without having to go to the Availability grid.

Julie HoyenskiYes, please! This causes a lot of confusion for our casual users.

Claire McKenneyYES!!! This would be very helpful as many of our users use calendar view (and calendar reports) and need a full picture of the time a room is actually reserved.

Mary AyersYes! We recommend that our users look always at the "Availability" grid because the calendar times are misleading. It would be great if this was a feature that could be turned on/off. I can imagine that it could also be a problem if someone looks at a room calendar for event information purposes and mistakenly think that an event setup time is an event start time.

JOANNE CONLUPlease have the option to select what is visible on the calendar. Ie, Pre event time only + Event schedule.

Tina QueridoI agree with Joanne Conlu. If there was a button to turn on/of the extra set-up/takedown on calendars that would be great.

Walt M (CollegeNET) AdminTo all who have commented and voted, I've started a discussion outlining our initial plans for a first release of this - https://www.series25.community/discussion/163/displaying-additional-time-on-a-calendar-view-seeking-feedback - there are options, so please chime in there with your preference!

Sheree CollinsFull picture of reservation (pre time/set up - event - post/take down) This also affects use of GS gold or other door unlocking/ locking programs that communicate information.
I would want to display clearly so people don't think that an event setup time is an event start time. Or event scheduler sees room is scheduled and think they booked pre time but did not. -

Mike C (CollegeNET) AdminSheree Collins, thank you for your above comment. This will only effect 25Live Pro Calendars and Embeddable Calendars. We will display this in such a way that it should be clear for your end users.
Example:
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Name of the Event
Location A
Location B
Changes to -->
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (5:00 pm - 11:00 pm)
The Name of the Event
Location A
Location B

Jeanette S.I am already using this. Unfortunately, it doesn't include Pre & Post Event times so it looks like there's a gap in the encumberment and/or occupation of the room.

c*One of my users just pointed out to me that setup does NOT show on the calendar view. I can concur. Do I have to do something to enable that?
Never mind, I found it. I NEVER use this view, ha. -

Walt (CollegeNET) AdminThere is a check box above the calendar view, "Display Additional Time" - that should show the additional time in parentheses.
