Upload file attachments that are for internal eyes only

When uploading a file on the Event Form let the user designate which files should be displayed to all users and what files should be hidden from all or some users.

At Eastern Kentucky University, we use the attachments field to attach contracts, insurance policies and correspondence. These are things we'd rather not allow anyone but our designated approvers to view.

Yes please! At least for the time being, make the attached files not viewable to anyone but Sys and Func admins. Most of the files we attach are contracts and backup emails/paperwork, not anything that should be viewed by others. Right now, anyone - even folks who haven't logged in - can view these.

It's actually weird what folks can see and can't see. Is there some way to customize this?

Agreed, We would like to use attached files for riders, insurance, etc. as well. The fact that anyone in 25Live can open these documents makes the file attachment option useless.

This is something we definitely need! We are unable to use the document tool because of this. I also wonder if other institutions are aware that this is the case. It can cause some serious data compliance issues. Thanks!

I foresee users adding attachments having issues selecting the correct permissions to give. Perhaps if we used the new Tags setup for this. You could create Tags for Attachments then setup security based on those Tags. Then when a person adds and attachment it would have a pop that would have them select all Tags for who should be able to see the Attachment.

PLEASE, add this feature or a way to customize what is visible! We also find it quite weird what folks can see and not see. Students have mentioned that "25Live tells all" which is not always helpful, especially to show internal communications to literally anyone on the interwebs. Thanks for considering.
