Create date constraints that can be viewed before saving an event
Date constraints currently exist on folders and are only applied to events after they are saved and the event is routed to a folder. We should have constraint dates that can predict when they are relevant for an event (based on type, security group, etc) and show up in the event form to warn the user before saving.

Pamela MasonIt would be helpful if occurrence could not be added to an event and instead a warning would appear telling them why. This would also potential conflicts from appearing for Locations and Resources that will not exist after the dates are removed. I know this may not be possible do to how event routing works. If you could set date constraints on Organizations and Event Type you may be able be able to partially accommodate this.

Julie HoyenskiSimilar to Date Condition for Rule feature request?
We would love a means to warn people - AS they are filling out the event form - of annual time periods when support services are either not available or very limited. Contrary to Pamela Mason's suggestion we would want some Organizations to have the ability to submit during these times. For example: folks on campus cannot hold events during Reunion week, but we DO want our Alumni Office to submit requests for that week via the event form so that we capture all pertinent info.
