Ayodele BondWe'd like to be able to hide the instructions entirely or make them un-editable so that it can used to leave instructions for the requestor. We'd rather leverage custom attributes and form rules to receive space layout "instructions"/requests.

ChristieYes, the location instructions field is a nuisance for us as well. We use resources for room setup instructions - but enough people go through the form and see the location layout/instructions as the appropriate place to enter their setup instructions. And when they do we only see it if we happen to drill into an individual occurrence on the occurrence tab... something we don't want to have to double check on every reservation. Turning off the locations instructions field would prevent these hidden setup requests that inevitably fall through the cracks because no one notices them.

Dawn PustelnikAbsolutely, this field is very confusing. If there are no Default Instructions then why does this field appear on the Event Form? The fact that it's a field that is populated from a location's Default Instructions AND a field that a user can edit on the form is bizarre. And as Christie says if a user enters anything that information is buried so deep in the event you really have to go looking for it. The same instructions field appears for Resources, including Calendar Resources. If I don't have any default instructions for a Calendar Resource I want the ability to hide that field.
