OLS to control who can assign an organization
Locations and resources have a level of OLS which determines who can add them to an event versus just seeing their availability. Organizations do not have this; any user who can see an organization can add it to an event. Requesting this OLS be extended to organizations as well. (Not the same thing as assignment policy.)

Julie HoyenskiI'm confused by this post as I think we ARE talking about Assignment Policy. Our campus wants faculty & staff to be able to see student organizations in the system, but we do not want them to assign them to events. Student Orgs are supposed to place their own event requests, and we have trouble dissuading some advisors from doing so on their behalf. Having an AP of "Not Requestable" we could apply to faculty/staff security groups for Student Orgs would avert some headaches where attemps at behavior management have not. :)
