Add time to event creation buffers
In the config utility you can set a date buffer on when users are and aren't allowed to create events. At least 2 days in advance, no more than 90 days in advance, no events before 9/7/15 or after 12/25/15, etc.
It would be useful if this buffer included time as a factor. Currently, if the buffer requires 1 day in advance, it only counts the date. Submitting a request at 11:45pm for a 12:15 am event counts as 1 day's notice. If you could specify how many hours notice were required, and specify when your business hours are, then you could be more precise about advance notice.

Stephen ClarkeThis would be incredibly helpful- especially being able to specify business hours (As we are closed on weekends).
We typically have our students and departments request space on the weekend or after 5pm on a week day for the day after next. We have a 48 hour window on spaces that prevents them from requesting in less than 2 days- which has helped a lot.
However, this doesn't take weekends into account. This means they can technically request Saturday morning for a space on Monday or Tuesday. But, with our office closed until Monday, we will not see and process it until then.
So, what would be ideal is if weekends (and even holidays) were factored into that request window. So that the earliest a request could be made would be Wednesday.
Locations themselves are open on the weekends and staffed by my student employees. But myself and the other schedulers in our specific area are 9-5 M-F. Other departments have different hours. -

MossBeing able to specify business days or hours like Stephen mentioned would be stellar!
