Apply Object Security to Location Features

I would love for our Media Services group to have the ability to edit only the Features applied to locations, so they can manage that information themselves as they update or change the equipment in any given space. In other words, they would have a security group that could edit locations, but only the Features. If I could control which Features they could use, that would be even better.

Is that over the top?

This would be VERY helpful for us! Not just for the same reason mentioned here, but also, for us it is someone in the Provost's Office who manages the classroom scheduling and optimizations. With that, they need the ability to manage the Partition information on the Locations to make adjustments (sometimes on the fly), but they have to have permission to all Location information to do it. Some of that other Location data is maintained by the Facilities department and factors into mandatory state reporting so it is supposed to be tightly controlled.
