Merge duplicate contacts into single contact
By the time we find out there may be a duplicate contact, they have already been attached to events. This happens a lot because we have instructors with two different emails in Peoplesoft so when we import classes it will think they are a new contact. Or sometimes in Peoplesoft, they will have a middle initial but in 25Live they don't, so they think it's a new user. If we could merge contacts then we wouldn't have to spend time removing the "duplicate" contact from all their courses or events just to delete one of them.

ChristieYes! We also get duplicates and have to go back and switch the contact in each event the duplicate was attached to, just so we can delete the duplicate without losing that event's contact information. The longer the duplicate exists the more events we have to untangle and it's time consuming.

Cathy ZarrellaDo need ability to verify before merged, as we may have 2 different contacts for some employees as they have roles in Conference orgs for personal use.

MossThis would be incredibly helpful! There are so many duplicate users in our system since we have created events, created a contact associated with the event, and that client hasn't actually logged in (creating a new contact) until much later.
