Ability to "Demote" Existing Events into Segments Under Another Event

For example someone submitted 12 separate event requests for a series of interviews they were hosting - I would have liked to create a new parent reservation (by copying and generalizing the information) and then demote those 12 events to segments under the newly created parent event.
