Event Form Rule Settings - Notification - add "Is Not In" for resources and locations
Add criteria "Is Not In" for resources and locations so that events in certain locations or with certain resources will not receive the notification.
Example: We would like to notify users that based on their chosen event type, we recommend adding a calendar. We have it in recommended resources, but many users do not know to look for that. We added the notification, but it still pops up every time you edit the event, even if you already have the resource added. If we were able to tell the system not to notify if the calendar was a resource on the event, it would be better for our users.

Kenny MUpvoted! Here's another use case I ran into for an "Is Not In" operator just right now:
I have a room with a movable air-wall. For opening/closing/adjusting the air wall, for many years we've used a resource for clients to indicate whether they want it open, closed or in a different position. Most of the time when they they only book room A but not room B, they want the air wall closed. Prime case for automation, right?
I wanted to add an event form rule to make this air wall resource automatically add to the event form:
- "In" location A, and "Not In" location "B" >>> add resource "Air Wall Closed"
(and yes, I know there are other Series25 provisions for divided rooms...but this "Is Not In" operator would be helpful in many scenarios) -

Pamela MasonWe would like this not just for Notifications but any of the Rules. Sometimes it is just easier to say it is not one of these than select which ones it is. Especially when you want to make sure new Locations or Resources get included in the Rule without having to remember to add them to the Rule. Most of our users that can add Resources cannot edit Event Rules.

Jason WolfgangIn some cases a "is not in" operator would help steer and or prompt less savvy users to ensure a proper source location and or resource selection. 25 Live allows (understandably) for an event to proceed without the selection of either, however in some of our campus instances they do not or will not operate in a manner that allows an event to occur without either. The “is not in” operator for locations or resources will allow us to alert or notify the end user they did not select a resource and or location. Try as we may we just can’t get the message across to the broader user community when applicable.

Pamela Mason MergedIn some cases I want the rule to apply to all security groups except a few. It is a lot easier to setup and maintain if I can use an exclude criteria instead of having to select all of the security groups I want it to apply to. Especially because then I have to remember to update the rule when I add new security groups.
