Hide Inactive Event Types in Search Creation

We have 325 event types. The majority are marked inactive or they are just not in use. They are a lot to scroll thru when creating an advanced search (especially since the ones we use start with R- and SC-). It would be fab if we could hide those event types and only see the active ones. Not only would it save time but it would also keep basic users from seeing options they really don't/shouldn't have.

The abridged functionality should be used for this. If they are not available then you cannot create search based on them when you need to. This was actually a problem I had in the old UI. You should never have to active something in order to just search by it. If you are never going to need to search for them again then you can remove the events and them from the system entirely.
