Make it easier to change date on multiple segments when copying an event with multiple segments
If you copy an event with multiple segments, the event saves after you update the first segment. Any locations assigned to other segments are immediately removed, since they conflict with the original event. This creates extra work for schedulers. This could be prevented if you could pick how much to change the date of all segments at once - like when copying an annual event and advancing it by 1 year. Or perhaps make a way to update multiple segments without saving until you've had a chance to adjust all event segments.

Kenny MThis problem is making segments somewhat unusable for ongoing work (especially where large events are repeated every 6 months or every year) -- segments are great for creating a large events in 1 reservation, but you literally have to rebuild every single segment's date structure when trying to copy it year-over-year, which is (really!) annoying, especially with complicated date/time structures that large events tend to have.

MossThis would make segments much more usable for us!

Pamela MasonThis is making segments problematic for users, the majority of events we use them on are complex events which are also usually the reoccurring events like Commencement. The current copy process makes it very hard to convince people to switch from using related events to segments. I think on the copy screen you should be able to select the new First Occurrence Date for each segment.
