Select more than one value for Custom Attribute (multi-select, checklist, check box)

I don't like categories and would instead like to replace them with checklist attributes. This would allow me to control which ones showed up and which Event Types and make some required while others are not. This could also be used for a business process checklist for some Event Types.

Having the discrete options with a dropdown list is already great. Having the option to select more one choice as checkbox list could be even better. I'm thinking of institutions where resources are used to publish calendars. Several rules could then be made to indicate which resource should be added to the event form. If a user checked A, B, and C calendar = 3 separate rules of Add Calendar Resource A, B, and C. There would could be easily be other situations, such as a CA question of "select all that apply to your event" that could then trigger different CA, Add Resource, and Rec Resources based on the selected checkmark items or combination selected items.

This is definitely taking this feature one step further and making it more functional! I agree that it would be great to have the option to choose ONE or ALL and then having different criteria based on that. I already have several questions that could be combined into one if this feature was added.

It appears I upvoted one of the related suggestions before they were merged. Just want to reiterative my support for a "check all that apply" discrete options list and provide an example. Our Media Services group has requested we assist them in gathering more info on AV needs through our event request form and proposed a multi-selectable dropdown list. We have the ability in our existing Drupal request form, but are transitioning to using 25Live request forms.
